Re: Pride 33 odds (full card)

yea easily highest I've ever seen. Or atleast odds that are even available.

I like trigg dogged. I don't watch that much Pride but I think he should have a reasonable shot at beating Misaki.

Re: Pride 33 odds (full card)

I like 3 dogs in on this card....

Henderson at +230 is like a 30% chance of victory.  I think he has at least a 30% shot.  He looked good against him last time, and he may even be better now than he was then.

Diaz at +310 is like a 24% chance.  If Diaz can actually get past his stand-up ego and fight smart (ie... on the ground), he could win.  Gomi's ground skills are not even close to Diaz's level.

I also like Trigg at +265; like a 27% chance.  I see Trigg having a better shot than that at a decision win.

Crap, if you put 20 bucks on each of those 3 fights, as long as you pick at least 1 underdog righ, you would still win at least 6 bucks.  Then a lot more if you get 2/3.

lol -2300 is insane.  Even CroCop was only a -1000 against Sanchez.  -2300 pretty much says that Nog has a 96% chance of winning and at +1350 Sok has a 7% chance of winning (or roughly 1 in 14 shot).
I think to put money on Nog is pretty risky at those odds just from the probabiltiy of cut and DQ stoppages.

LOL...that one is killing me...what are you earning...5% on you money?? Might as well just keep it in a savings account!! lol

Re: Pride 33 odds (full card)

Exactly, however a 5% ROI in one day is better than in 365 days.
I think the odds would be attractive if you were to throw out the fight if it were to end early due to a cut or a DQ.
I don't see any way possible that Nog loses this fight cleanly.

Does anyone know anything about Sokoudjou?  Does he have a wooden leg or something?

You think anybody wants a round house kick to the face by a guy wearing a pair of these?. . . Forget about it!

Re: Pride 33 odds (full card)

i never understood how all the payouts worked. What -310 pays out or what +310 pays.... can anyone explain it to me?

Sure.  First off, the (-) sign is always in front of the favorite.  It tells you how much you would have to bet in order to make $100 in profit.
The (+) sign is always in front of the underdog.  It tells you how much money you would profit if you bet $100.

So, a -310 = you would have to bet $310 in order to get $410 back on a win (profit = $100).
A +310 = if you bet $100 you would get $410 back on a win (profit = $310).

I'll give you that, but if you were REALLY smart you would've put $100 on Dokojokosuko whatever his name is. Nog hit the mat like a wet noodle!!

lol maybe, but as the fighters were coming into the ring and the first 10 seconds of the fight, i was thinking why the hell is lil Nog fighting such a no name, he is an established fighter being given a free win on a silver platter....but then it got 28 seconds into the fight and i shut the hell up.
