awesome, thanks for the vid!

what a boring fight though.   Nothing special at all.  Even the punches at the end to finish it seemed to be in slow motion.

Jeez. AA won, but I think he's been stricken with Vitor Belfort syndrome. Rogan stated during the fight that fighters live and die in their own minds, and I think it really rings true with AA. The HW division is pretty thin these days, but I think Dana is making the right move by not upping the pitbulls salary. He's just not earning it like he used to, IMO.

It was pretty boring but I wouldn't put all that blame on AA.  The first half of the first round he was defending, the biggest negative was him not taking the choke which was there the entire time.  Either he wasn't comfortable pulling guard or he wanted to finish the fight with strikes instead.  Got the trip and landed in mount, was a good transition.  Not the best fight but from the comments I thought it was going to be much worse than what it was.

im very impressed. I wasnt impressed with Werdum. I wasnt impressed with Heath Herring when Obrian kicked his arse. ...But, both of those guys are somehow ahead of Arlovski with a title shot.  Arlovski is the best HW in that divsion and somehow the genius marketers at Zuffa has put it in our heads that he's not at the top. I'm firm with the fact that UFC strategically put their top fighters untelevised to bring in MORE REVENUE to compensate for recent lack of PPV buys. which is dirty business imo...bc its against us hardcore fans. Hopefully it backfires and people download the torrents for free... b/c if they did bring in more profits from this strategy, then they will make it a habit in the future.

AA is definitely a different man.  Maybe it was me but when he had Obrien mounted and was unloading on him it still didnt even seem like he was hitting him hard like the old aa.

I still go back to his fight against Paul and watch those awesome 10 seconds over and over because the KO was so awesome and aggressive.  I have to say, it'd be great to see the old AA Back.
